Mise En Scene is a textile company that was started out by two young textile designers. Their aim was to create unique designs that were hand-drawn, hand-painted, or hand-rendered. Their designs were hand-printed using silkscreens.
I created the logo based on their main belief: slight imperfections are what make their products interesting and human. The actual logo was done by silk screen method.
As the company name Mise En Scene suggests, each print holds a scene from movie which was interpreted by them and interwoven to their designs. For the collection booklet, I created a dramatic layout that fuels imagination like a story book. Honey hive illustration that repeatedly appears throughout the booklet is from a Spanish film, "El Espiritu de la Colmena" that the two chose as a theme for the season.
